Abide In The WordHandbook 1: Article 10 - How's Your Kingdom Coming?

"If you abide in My Word, you are truly my disciples."

John 8: 31

What does the word "abide" mean? To remain in, to continue to live in, to hold fast to, to live in accordance with, to submit to, to rely on.

Do you abide in the Word? Do you cling to it as offering greater security than all the securities in the world? Do you obey Jesus regardless of the consequences? Are you hot, cold, or lukewarm about the Word of God? Check your temperature by beginning at the bottom of the list below and include every word that describes your response to the Scriptures.

"You have commanded us to keep your precepts, that we should observe them diligently. O that my ways were directed and established to observe your statutes and -- hearing, receiving, loving, obeying them."
